For those times when you need someone to care for your furry family member for a night or longer, The Farmer's Doghouse is pleased to offer boarding services. Boarding dogs enjoy daycare services during the day and spend the night in a private suite. These suites are monitored throughout the night and staff are always on hand if a furry guest needs some extra attention, like a bathroom break. These suites are also where feedings take place to ensure that all our guests enjoy their meals in peace.

Boarding must be booked 72 hours in advance, with a 25% deposit fee. This deposit fee is applied to the final boarding fee. Cancellations must give us at least 24 hours notice. Failing to provide a cancellation in time will result in the deposit being forfeited.

We do require that you provide enough food for your dog to last the entire stay. If there is not enough food provided and we have to purchase extra, the cost of the food as well as gas and employee time will be added to the regular boarding fee. This also applies to any medicine or supplement your dog may require.

Regular check-in time is 8-11am on weekdays, and regular checkout time is from 4:30-6pm on weekdays. If you require a different checkout time, or need to pick up your furry family member during a weekend or holiday, please let us know during the booking process. While we can accommodate most off-hours check-in and checkout times, an added fee may need to be applied for particularly late night or early morning check-ins and checkouts.

Daycare

The Farmer's Doghouse provides daycare services for dogs that need some extra exercise, stimulation, and socialization for the day. We have both indoor and outdoor play areas which can be separated into sections to keep dogs in appropriate play groups. Dogs are always supervised during playtime and have monitored private suites to rest in during breaks.

If you would like to send your dog with a snack for daycare, that will be provided in his or her private suite during breaktime.
​
Daycare is open from 8am to 4:30pm every weekday. First-time visitors will be required to fill out and submit an Enrollment Package Form as well as any other necessary records. On the first day, we will ask you to remain on the premises for no longer than 10 minutes or so for an assessment to ensure that group care is suitable for your dog. This is to ensure the safety and happiness of all the dogs in our care.

During a typical day, your dog can expect plenty of play time both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting, with rest periods in the middle of the day and just before closing time. If your dog requires a different balance of rest and play, we will adjust his or her schedule accordingly.
Grooming
The Farmer's Doghouse is right next door to the Lucky Dog Pet Salon, which can provide grooming services to dogs by appointment. Treat your dog to a full spa day during boarding!
